HUGE TAX BREAKS FOR NEW QUALIFYING ENERGY SYSTEMS

has never been easier thanks to

Sens and Our Government. The following information should be confirmed locally.

Federal Grants - Qualifying solar energy and other energy systems are eligible to receive grants up to 30% of the total qualified installed costs.

☼ Grants for residential and non-residential Photovoltaic (PV) systems will not exceed 30% with no cap.

☼ Grants for residential or non-residential solar water heating systems will not exceed 30% with no cap.

☼ Grants for residential or non-residential efficient water heaters will not exceed 30% up to $1500.

☼ Grants for HVAC, heat pump and air conditioning systems will not exceed 30% up to $1500.

☼ Grants for geothermal heat pump systems will not exceed 30% with no cap.

☼ Grants for residential and non-residential wind systems will not exceed 30%, no cap.

Maryland Residents - Qualifying solar energy and other energy systems (see overviews below or Green Energy Program regulations) are eligible to receive grants up to $10 of the total qualified installed costs.

☼ Grants for residential and non-residential Photovoltaic (PV) systems will not exceed $10,000.

☼ Grants for residential or non-residential solar water heating systems will not exceed $3,000.

☼ Grants for geothermal heat pump systems will not exceed $3,000.
 

Delaware Residents - Qualifying solar energy systems  are eligible to receive grants up to 25% of the total qualified installed costs.

☼ Grants for residential Photovoltaic (PV) systems will not exceed 50% up to $31,500.

☼ Grants to non-residential Photovoltaic (PV) systems will not exceed 50% up to $250,000.

☼ Grants for residential solar water heating systems will not exceed 50% up to $3,000.

☼ Grants for non-residential solar water heating systems will not exceed 50% up to $250,000.

☼ Grants for residential solar water heating systems integrated into radiant heating applications will not exceed 50% up to $5,000 for the solar energy portion of the system.

☼ Grants for non-residential solar water heating systems integrated into radiant heating applications will not exceed 50% up to $250,000.
